ASC Case Studies provide housestaff with a unique chance to gain valuable experience in scientific writing, creating educational content, and obtaining a peer-reviewed publication, and for faculty to gain valuable experience in research mentorship. This opportunity helps to foster professional growth of housestaff and is an excellent stepping-stone into the daunting world of research and academic writing.
The program is entirely free and open to all housestaff—participants do not need to be members of the ASC nor do they need to have a specific interest in cytopathology (the field applies to all organ systems!).
