A group of medical students, residents, and attending physicians with a shared interest in pathology got together to discuss the obstacles that stood in their paths, their colleaguesā impressions of the discipline, and what can be done to encourage future students to consider pathology.
TheĀ Society of ā67Ā Thomas D. Kinney Scholars ProgramĀ provides an opportunity for medical students and/or pathology residents to familiarize themselves with career opportunities in pathology and the critical role of pathology in healthcare delivery, research, and education.
The Intersociety Council for Pathology Information (ICPI) is a non-profit organization, sponsored by five major pathology societies, that exists to create or publicize information about the field of pathology and laboratory medicine, to inspire interest across the spectrum of related career opportunities, and to support the training and professional development of students, residents and fellows by promoting educational programs, meetings, resources, and awards offered by ICPIās member organizations and academic partners.
