The SCVP trainee award program was created to offer an intensive one month rotation in cardiovascular pathology to pathology trainees who are not exposed to a subspecialized cardiovascular pathology service in their home program. Award recipients will have the opportunity to rotate in a subspecialized cardiovascular pathology service for a duration of one month. If Accepted, the SCVP will match trainees to a host institution in closest proximity to their home program. The financial component of the award / program is designed to cover round trip travel and accommodation costs for the rotation. Visiting trainees will be responsible for the cost of food. Trainees will be housed, whenever possible, in walking and/or shuttle distance from the host institution.  Stipend amounts will vary based on various factors including the travel requirements and the facilities at the host institution. A maximum of 10,000 USD per rotation is allocated, and disbursement will be managed by SCVP and the host institution.  See website for details or message Dr. Charles Leduc (charles.leduc.med@ssss.gouv.qc.ca).
