The Medical Student Travel Award is intended to encourage and support medical students showing a strong interest in the specialty of pathology as a career choice. This award provides funding, to cover travel expenses up to $1,200, to attend the CAP Annual Meeting (Oct. 8–11, 2022, New Orleans), where awardees will gain valuable insight and critical knowledge from experts regarding the field of pathology and its career pathways.
The Intersociety Council for Pathology Information (ICPI) is a non-profit organization, sponsored by five major pathology societies, that exists to create or publicize information about the field of pathology and laboratory medicine, to inspire interest across the spectrum of related career opportunities, and to support the training and professional development of students, residents and fellows by promoting educational programs, meetings, resources, and awards offered by ICPI’s member organizations and academic partners.
